Cleaning swarf and particles from a milling/polishing CNC machine.

#85.

It's important that swarf and particles are cleaned away after milling and/or polishing in a CNC machine, otherwise it will stop working. The company used a conventional air gun to manually blow the swarf away from the CNC machine. This is one of the most common ways of performing blowing operations. The swarf was blown to a place in the machine where it was easily collected and removed. The cleaning process subjected the operator to very high sound levels, as he was so close to the source.
