CSR – only fine words or does it mean anything to you?

CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility. It has become more and more common and a lot of companies are getting involved.

“CSR should be done with love and care. At Silvent, we allow employees to participate in deciding which CSR projects we should focus on – when we know that all our employees are passionate about what we do. Right now we are focusing on getting 15-year-old students to become motivated to study and develop themselves. An exciting project.

Working for a company that works actively with CSR creates pride among all employees. A pride that in other ways would be difficult to create. CSR applies rarely to money. It is all about time and priority. The management must create a culture in which CSR is prioritized.”

Anders Erlandsson, CEO, Silvent.
